Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying when a goat came and began to pass in front of him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) tried to stop it, until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pressed it against the wall. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Nothing interrupts the prayer, but repel (whoever passes in front of you) as much as you are able."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Yahya bin Maymun al-Tammar, who is da'if (weak). Ibn Hibban mentioned him in his book al-Thiqat.
