Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2113

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A woman does not pray in any place that is better for her than the innermost part of her house, except that al-Masjid al-Haram or the Prophet's Mosque is a different matter; and a woman who goes out in her "manqal" is also a different matter. (The narrator says:) That is, she goes out wearing khuffs (leather socks).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
