بَابٌ مِنْهُ فِي كَرَامَةِ الْمَسَاجِدِ وَمَا نُهِيَ عَنْ فِعْلِهِ فِيهَا مِنْ تَشْبِيكِ الْأَصَابِعِ وَإِقَامَةِ الْحُدُودِ وَالْبَيْعِ وَنَحْوِ ذَلِكَ .

وَعَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا تُقَامُ الْحُدُودُ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ الْوَاقِدِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prescribed punishments (hudud) should not be carried out in the mosques."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, al-Waqidi, who is da'if (weak).
