Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1999

Abu Ghalib narrated this from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him). The narrator says: I think he narrated it as a marfu' hadith (attributed to the Prophet): (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) "Garlic, onion and leek are from the perfume of Iblis."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a man called Abu Sa'id, who narrated from Abu Ghalib, and from whom Abd al-Aziz bin Abd al-Samad narrated. I have not found anyone who has given his biography.
