Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever eats these vegetables, garlic, onion, leek and radish (fujl), must not come near our mosque, for the angels are harmed by whatever harms human beings." I say: This narration is reported in the Sahih, but without the word: radish (fujl).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Yahya bin Rashid al-Bara' al-Basri, and he is da'if (weak). Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy) and said: "He makes mistakes and contradicts (others)." The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
