Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 197

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Three things are among the traits of faith: the person who, when he becomes angry, his anger does not lead him into falsehood; the person who, when he is pleased, his pleasure does not take him out of the truth; and the person who, when he has power, does not take what he has no right to."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. Its chain contains a narrator, Bishr bin al-Husayn, and he is a kadhdhab (liar).
