وَعَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مَرَّ عَلَى قَوْمٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يَبْنُونَ مَسْجِدًا ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَوْسِعُوا مَسْجِدَكُمْ تَمْلَئُوهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دِرْهَمٍ ، وَرَوَى عَنْهُ شَبَابَةُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ وَقَالَ : ثِقَةٌ وَضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَالدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دِرْهَمٍ ، وَرَوَى عَنْهُ شَبَابَةُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ وَقَالَ : ثِقَةٌ وَضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَالدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ .
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by some people of the Ansar who were building a mosque, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Make your mosque spacious and fill it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Muhammad bin Dirham, from whom Shababah bin Sawwar narrated, and he said: "He is thiqah (trustworthy)." Yahya bin Ma'in and al-Daraqutni declared him da'if (weak).
