Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The iqamah was given for the Fajr prayer, and a man stood up and began to offer two rak'ahs. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pulled him by his garment and said: "Will you pray four rak'ahs in the Fajr prayer?"
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Hadiths on this will come, if Allah wills, in the chapters concerning the iqamah, the disliked times of prayer, the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When the iqamah is given for the prayer, do not stand until you see me," and the mu'adhdhin seeking the imam's permission.
