بَابٌ الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ .

وَعَنْ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْمُؤَذِّنُونَ أُمَنَاءُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ عَلَى فِطْرِهِمْ وَسُحُورِهِمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Mahdhurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The mu'adhdhins are the trustees of the Muslims over their breaking of the fast (iftar) and their pre-dawn meal (suhur)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain is hasan (good).
