وَعَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الْخِلَافَةُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ ، وَالْحُكْمُ فِي الْأَنْصَارِ ، وَالدَّعْوَةُ فِي الْحَبَشَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ .

Sayyiduna Utbah bin Abdan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The caliphate will remain in Quraysh, judgement (that is, the office of giving judicial rulings) will remain with the Ansar, and the call (da'wah) will remain with the Abyssinians."
