Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 1888

Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) states: During journeys, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not have the adhan given when performing prayer; he only had the iqamah said. The morning prayer, however, was different, for which he would have both the adhan and the iqamah given.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Dirar bin Surad, who is da'if (weak).
