وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " صَلُّوا عَلَيَّ فَإِنَّهَا زَكَاةٌ لَكُمْ ، وَسَلُوا لِيَ الْوَسِيلَةَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ " فَسَأَلْنَاهُ أَوْ أَخْبَرَنَا ، فَقَالَ : " هِيَ دَرَجَةٌ فِي أَعْلَى الْجَنَّةِ ، وَهِيَ لِرَجُلٍ أَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلَ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ دَاوُدُ بْنُ عُلْبَةَ ، ضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَالنِّسَائِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُمَا ، وَوَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَقَالَ مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ الضَّبِّيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا ذُؤَادُ بْنُ عُلْبَةَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ خَيْرًا ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ : هُوَ فِي جُمْلَةِ الضُّعَفَاءِ مِمَّنْ يُكْتَبُ حَدِيثُهُ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ دَاوُدُ بْنُ عُلْبَةَ ، ضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَالنِّسَائِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُمَا ، وَوَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، وَقَالَ مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ الضَّبِّيُّ : حَدَّثَنَا ذُؤَادُ بْنُ عُلْبَةَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ خَيْرًا ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ : هُوَ فِي جُمْلَةِ الضُّعَفَاءِ مِمَّنْ يُكْتَبُ حَدِيثُهُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Send blessings upon me, for it is a means of purification for you, and ask (Allah) for al-Wasilah in Paradise for me." The narrator states: We asked him, or he told us himself, and he said: "It is a rank in the highest part of Paradise, and it will be for one man only; I hope that I will be that man."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this narration. Its chain contains a narrator, Dawud bin Ulbah, whom Yahya bin Ma'in, Imam Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) and others declared da'if (weak), while Ibn Numayr declared him thiqah (trustworthy). Musa bin Dawud al-Dabbi said: "Dhu'ad bin Ulbah narrated to us," and then Musa praised him. Ibn Adi says: He is one of the weak narrators whose hadith is written down.
