بَابُ إِجَابَةِ الْمُؤَذِّنِ ، وَمَا يَقُولُ عِنْدَ الْأَذَانِ وَالْإِقَامَةِ .

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُنَادِي الْمُنَادِي : اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ الْقَائِمَةِ ، وَالصَّلَاةِ النَّافِعَةِ ، صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَارْضَ عَنِّي رِضَاءً لَا سَخَطَ بَعْدَهُ - اسْتَجَابَ اللَّهُ لَهُ دَعْوَتَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the mu'adhdhin gives the adhan, whoever (then) recites: 'O Allah, Lord of this established call and of the beneficial prayer, send blessings upon Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and be pleased with me with a pleasure after which there is no displeasure,' (the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) Allah Almighty accepts that person's supplication."
Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded this narration. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, in whom there is weakness.
