بَابٌ فِي أَهْلِ النَّارِ ، وَعَلَامَتِهَا ، وَأَوَّلِ مَنْ يُكْسَى حُلَلَهَا .

وَعَنْ عُلَيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ قَالَ : بَلَغَنِي عَنْ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ لَهُ : " يَا سُرَاقَةُ ، أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَهْلِ النَّارِ ؟ " . قَالَ : بَلَى . يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " أَمَّا أَهْلُ النَّارِ فَكَلُّ جَعْظَرِيٍّ ، جَوَّاظٍ ، مُسْتَكْبِرٍ ، وَأَمَّا أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ فَالضُّعَفَاءُ الْمَغْلُوبُونَ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ فِيهِ رَاوِيًا لَمْ يُسَمَّ .
Ali bin Rabah states: This narration reached me from Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "O Suraqah, shall I not tell you about the people of Paradise and the people of Hell?" He replied: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "As for the people of Hell, they are every arrogant, coarse, haughty (person); and as for the people of Paradise, they are the weak and the overpowered."
