Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 18567

Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Our Lord divided His mercy into one hundred parts and sent down one part of them to the earth. Because of it, people, birds and animals show mercy to one another. The remaining ninety-nine mercies (that is, the remaining ninety-nine parts of mercy) are with the Lord, and they are for His servants on the Day of Resurrection."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. The narrator Ishaq bin Yahya did not meet Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him); the remaining narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih, except Ishaq bin Yahya.
