Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 18382

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The registers (that is, the records of deeds) with Allah Almighty will be of three kinds: a register about which Allah Almighty will not care at all, a register from which Allah Almighty will not leave anything, and a register which Allah Almighty will not forgive. As for the register which Allah Almighty will not forgive, it is associating (anyone) as a partner with Allah Almighty; Allah Almighty has said: 'Whoever associates partners with Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty will forbid Paradise to him.' As for the register about which Allah Almighty will not care, it is the servant's wronging himself in matters between him and his Lord, such as his having abandoned the fast of a day or abandoned a prayer; Allah Almighty will forgive that and overlook it if He wills. As for the register from which Allah Almighty will not leave anything, it is servants' wronging one another; for it there will inevitably be retribution (qisas)."
Ahmad recorded this narration; its chain contains Sadaqah bin Musa, whom the majority declared da'if (weak). Muslim bin Ibrahim says: Sadaqah bin Musa narrated to us, and he was saduq (truthful). The remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
