وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " تُحْشَرُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَلَى ثَلَاثَةِ أَصْنَافٍ : فَصِنْفٌ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ ، وَصِنْفٌ يُحَاسَبُونَ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا وَيَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ ، وَصِنْفٌ يَجِيئُونَ عَلَى حَمَائِلِهِمْ كَأَمْثَالِ الْجِبَالِ الرَّاسِيَةِ ، فَيَقُولُ اللَّهُ - جَلَّ وَعَزَّ - لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ - وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِمْ - : مَنْ هَؤُلَاءِ ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ : رَبَّنَا ، عَبِيدٌ مِنْ عَبِيدِكَ ، كَانُوا يَعْبُدُونَكَ لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِكَ شَيْئًا . فَيَقُولُ : حَطُّوهَا عَنْهُمْ ، وَضَعُوهَا عَلَى الْيَهُودِ وَالنَّصَارَى ، وَادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ بِرَحْمَتِي " . قُلْتُ : لَهُ حَدِيثٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرُ هَذَا . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مَطَرٍ ، وَهُوَ مُجْمَعٌ عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection this Ummah will be gathered in three categories. One category will enter Paradise without reckoning. One category will be given an easy reckoning and will enter Paradise. One category will come carrying their burdens like mountains. Allah Almighty will say to the angels, though He knows better about them: 'Who are these people?' The angels will reply: 'O our Lord, these are Your servants who used to worship You; they did not associate anyone with You.' Then Allah Almighty will say: 'Remove their burden and put it on the Jews and the Christians, and admit them into Paradise by means of My mercy.'" (Allamah Haythami says:) I say: A hadith from this Companion is recorded in the "Sahih", which is other than this narration.
