وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " يُبْعَثُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالسَّمَاءُ تَطِشُّ عَلَيْهِمْ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الصَّهْبَاءِ ، ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ جَرْحًا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection people will be brought to life while the sky sends down light rain upon them."
Ahmad and Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Rahman bin Abi al-Sahba', whom Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned without mentioning any criticism (jarh) of him. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
