Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 18273

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Three birds were presented to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a gift. He gave one bird to his maidservant to eat. The next day the maidservant brought the meat of that bird. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: Did I not forbid you from saving anything for tomorrow? Allah Almighty grants each day's provision.
Ahmad recorded this narration and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Hilal Abu al-Mu'alla, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
