Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 18254

In one narration the wording is: Sayyiduna Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "How far is your way from the way of your Prophet! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most detached of all people from the world, while you are the most eager of all people for it." Ahmad recorded all of these narrations; al-Tabarani recorded only the hadith narrated by Sayyiduna Amr (may Allah be pleased with him); the narrators of Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih.
