Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 18213

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Remember often the swift cutter of pleasures (the narrator says: that is, death)! For whoever is in abundance, this (remembrance) will make it little for him, and whoever is in scarcity, this will make it plentiful for him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain is hasan (good). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith narrated by Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) has already passed earlier in this chapter.
