وَعَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - رَفَعَهُ قَالَ : " لَا أَجْمَعُ عَلَى عَبْدِي خَوْفَيْنِ وَأَمْنَيْنَ ، وَإِنْ أَخَفْتُهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَمَّنْتُهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ ، وَإِنْ أَمَّنْتُهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَخَفْتُهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ " .
Al-Hasan reports from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a marfu' hadith: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(Allah Almighty says:) 'I will not combine two kinds of fear or two kinds of security for My servant. If I make him fearful in this world, I will grant him security in the Hereafter, and if I grant him security in this world, I will make him fearful in the Hereafter.'"
