Aslam relates: Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) saw Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) pulling at his tongue. He asked: "O Successor of the Messenger of Allah! What are you doing?" Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "This has led me into all kinds of situations, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has said: 'There is nothing in the body that does not complain of the sharpness of the tongue.'"
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Musa bin Muhammad bin Hayyan, and Ibn Hibban declared him trustworthy.
