بَابٌ فِيمَنْ تَرَكَ شَيْئًا لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى .
One who gives up something for the sake of Allah the Exalted

وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ قَدَرَ عَلَى طَمَعٍ مَنْ طَمَعِ الدُّنْيَا فَأَدَّاهُ ، وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَمْ يُؤَدِّهِ ، زَوَّجَهُ اللَّهُ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ حَيْثُ شَاءَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ .
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has power over some object of worldly desire and hands it over, although had he wished he would not have handed it over, Allah Almighty will marry him to whichever of the wide-eyed maidens of Paradise (al-hur al-'in) he wishes."
