عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ اسْتَوْجَبَ الثَّوَابَ ، وَاسْتَكْمَلَ الْإِيمَانَ : خُلُقٌ يَعِيشُ بِهِ فِي النَّاسِ ، وَوَرَعٌ يَحْجِزُهُ عَنْ مَحَارِمِ اللَّهِ ، وَحِلْمٌ يَرُدُّ بِهِ جَهْلَ الْجَاهِلِ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Three things, the person in whom they are found will have earned the reward and completed his faith: (fine) character with which he gets along with people, God-fearing restraint that keeps him away from what Allah Almighty has made unlawful, and forbearance with which he repels the ignorance of the ignorant."
