Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 18064

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: "What is richness?" He said: "Despairing of what is in the hands of people."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin Ziyad al-Ijli, who is matruk (abandoned).
