بَابُ إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَبْدًا حَمَاهُ الدُّنْيَا .
When Allah the Exalted loves a servant He protects him from this world

وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يَقُولُ : " إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا حَمَاهُ الدُّنْيَا كَمَا يَحْمِي أَحَدُكُمْ مَرِيضَهُ الْمَاءَ لِيُشْفَى " . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يُعْلَى ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When Allah Almighty loves a servant, He protects him from the world just as one of you protects his sick person from water so that he may be cured."
