عَنْ سَخْبَرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ أُعْطِيَ فَشَكَرَ ، وَابْتُلِيَ فَصَبَرَ ، وَظَلَمَ فَاسْتَغْفَرَ ، وَظُلِمَ فَغَفَرَ " . ثُمَّ سَكَتَ . قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا لَهُ ؟ قَالَ : " أُولَئِكَ لَهُمُ الْأَمْنُ ، وَهُوَ مُهْتَدُونَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْأَعْمَى ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Sakhbarah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who is given and is grateful, is tested and is patient, does wrong and seeks forgiveness, and is wronged and forgives." The narrator says: Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell silent. The people said: "O Messenger of Allah, what will he receive?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "These are the ones for whom there is security, and they are rightly guided."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Dawud al-A'ma (the blind), who is matruk (abandoned).
