وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنْ جِبْرِيلَ - عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ - عَنِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى قَالَ : " مَنْ أَهَانَ لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ بَارَزَنِي بِالْمُحَارَبَةِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ : أَبُو حَفْصٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), from Sayyiduna Jibril (peace be upon him), this saying of Allah Almighty: "Whoever insults a friend (wali) of Mine has challenged Me to war."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Umar bin Sa'id Abu Hafs al-Dimashqi, who is da'if (weak).
