بَابُ مَا يُسْأَلُ عَنْهُ الْعَبْدُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ .
What the servant will be asked about on the Day of Resurrection

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا فَوْقَ الْإِزَارِ ، وَظِلُّ الْحَائِطِ ، وَجَرُّ الْمَاءِ ، فَضْلٌ يُحَاسَبُ بِهِ الْعَبْدُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، أَوْ يُسْأَلُ عَنْهُ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ عَلَى ضَعْفٍ فِيهِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى الْمَرْوَزِيِّ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Clothing beyond the waist-wrap, the shade of a wall and a water jar are extra things; on the Day of Resurrection the servant will be called to account for them (the narrator is in doubt, or perhaps the words are:) he will be questioned about them."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Layth bin Abi Sulaym, who has been declared trustworthy despite his weakness. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih, except al-Qasim bin Muhammad bin Yahya al-Marwazi, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
