Sayyiduna Ismah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Some of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! We pass through these markets and look at the fruits, and we feel a desire for them, but we do not have money with which to buy. Will we get a reward for that? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is reward for anything but this?"
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, al-Fadl bin al-Mukhtar, and he is extremely da'if (weak).
