Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two believers will meet at the gate of Paradise, one a well-off believer and the other a poor believer; they will have lived (so) in the world. The poor one will be admitted into Paradise, and the well-off one will be held back for as long as Allah wills; then he too will be admitted into Paradise. The poor one will meet him and say: O my brother! What held you back? You were held back so long that, by Allah, I began to fear for you. The well-off one will say: O my brother! After you, I was held back in a way that was frightening and hateful, and before I reached you (that is, while giving my account) so much of my sweat flowed that if a thousand camels that eat salty plants had come to it, they would have drunk that sweat and gone back with their thirst quenched."
Imam Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Duwayd, whose lineage is not stated. If he is the one from whom Sufyan narrated, then al-Ijli mentioned him in Kitab al-Thiqat; and if he is someone other than him, then I do not know him. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih, except Muslim bin Bashir, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
