Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17910

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this as a marfu' hadith: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The food of a household becomes little, and their houses become illuminated."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this same report in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin al-Muttalib al-Ijli, whom al-Uqayli declared da'if (weak). The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
