Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not teach you five things? To love the poor and to stay close to them; look at the one who is below you, and do not look at the one who is above you; maintain ties of kinship even if you are not treated likewise; speak the truth even if it is bitter; and recite abundantly 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' (There is no power and no strength except with Allah)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Jarir bin Ayyub al-Bajali, and he is extremely da'if (weak).
