وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ ، عَنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " يَدْخُلُ فُقَرَاءُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ الْأَغْنِيَاءِ بِأَرْبَعِمِائَةِ عَامٍ " . قَالَ : فَقُلْتُ : إِنَّ الْحَسَنَ يَذْكُرُ " بِأَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا " . فَقَالَ : عَنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " بِأَرْبَعِمِائَةِ عَامٍ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الْغَنِيُّ : يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ عَيْلًا " . قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، سَمِّهِمْ لَنَا بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ . قَالَ : " هُمُ الَّذِينَ إِذَا كَانَ مَكْرُوهٌ بُعِثُوا لَهُ ، وَإِذَا كَانَ نَعِيمٌ بَعَثُوا لَهُ سِوَاهُمْ ، وَهُمُ الَّذِينَ يُحْجَبُونَ عَنِ الْأَبْوَابِ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَوَارِيِّ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ .
Abu al-Siddiq reports from the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The poor believers will enter Paradise four hundred years before the wealthy." The (later) narrator says: I said: But al-Hasan,
in mentioning this narration, gave the words: "forty years before." Abu al-Siddiq said: From the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) it is reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Four hundred years before, until the wealthy man will wish: If only I had been poor (in the world)." The narrator says: I said: O Messenger of Allah, tell us their names. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They will be those who, when there is a disliked situation, are sent for it, and when it is the time of blessings, others are sent for them instead; and they will be those who are not allowed to come to the doors."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Zayd bin Abi al-Hawari, who has been declared trustworthy despite his weakness.
