Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My Pond will be as wide as the distance between Aden and Oman; its cups will be as many as the stars; its water will be whiter than snow and sweeter than honey; and the first to come to it will be the poor Muhajirun." We said: O Messenger of Allah, describe them to us. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Their hair will be dishevelled and their clothes soiled; they will not be able to marry women of comfort; doors will not be opened for them; they will fulfil their obligations, but they will not receive their rights." (Al-Haythami says:) I say: From this Companion there is a narration about the Pond in the "Sahih" in abridged form.
Al-Tabarani recorded it.
