عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ يَرْفَعُهُ قَالَ : يُنَادِي مُنَادٍ : دَعُوا الدُّنْيَا لِأَهْلِهَا ، دَعُوا الدُّنْيَا لِأَهْلِهَا ، دَعُوا الدُّنْيَا لِأَهْلِهَا ، مَنْ أَخَذَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا يَكْفِيهِ أَخَذَ جِيفَةً ، وَهُوَ لَا يَشْعُرُ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَقَالَ : لَا يُرْوَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ . ، وَفِيهِ هَانِئُ بْنُ الْمُتَوَكِّلِ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reports the following as a marfu' hadith. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A caller announces: Leave the world to its people! Leave the world to its people! Leave the world to its people! Whoever takes more of the world than his basic need takes a carcass, and he does not even realise it."
Al-Bazzar recorded it and said: It is narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) only through this chain. Its chain contains Hani bin al-Mutawakkil, who is da'if (weak).
