عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ أَصْبَحَ وَهَمُّهُ الدُّنْيَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اللَّهِ فِي شَيْءٍ ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَهْتَمَّ بِأَمْرِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَلَيْسَ مِنْهُمْ ، وَمَنْ أَعْطَى الذِّلَّةَ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ طَائِعًا غَيْرَ مُكْرَهٍ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ الرَّحَبِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wakes in the morning with his concern being the world has no standing with Allah Almighty. Whoever does not concern himself with the Muslims (that is, does not worry for them) is not one of them. And whoever subjects himself to humiliation willingly, without being compelled, is not one of us."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Yazid bin Rabi'ah al-Rahabi, who is matruk (abandoned).
