Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17774

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Three birds were given to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a gift. He gave one bird to his maidservant to eat. The next day the maidservant brought the meat of that bird to him, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: "Did I not forbid you to keep anything aside for tomorrow? Allah Almighty will provide the sustenance of every tomorrow."
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
