بَابُ لَوْلَا أَهْلُ الطَّاعَةِ هَلَكَ أَهْلُ الْمَعْصِيَةِ .
Were it not for the obedient, the disobedient would perish

وَعَنْ مُسَافِعٍ الدِّيلِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَوْلَا عِبَادٌ لِلَّهِ رُكَّعٌ ، وَصِبْيَةٌ رُضَّعٌ ، وَبَهَائِمُ رُتَّعٌ ، لَصُبَّ عَلَيْكُمُ الْعَذَابُ صَبًّا ، ثُمَّ رَضَّ رَضًّا " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Musafi' al-Dili (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Were it not for the servants of Allah Almighty who bow (that is, worshippers), suckling infants and grazing animals, punishment would have been poured upon you and then you would have been crushed."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Rahman bin Sa'd bin Ammar, and he is da'if (weak).
