Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17450

Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The words with which Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) used to seek protection for Sayyiduna Ishaq (peace be upon him) and Sayyiduna Isma'il (peace be upon him), I seek protection with them for Hasan and Husayn (these words are:) 'Allah has heard the one who supplicates, whoever supplicates; beyond Allah there is no target for one who shoots.'"
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: This is how I found this narration.
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Nu'aym bin Muwarri', who is da'if (weak).
