Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17218

Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Allah Almighty says: O My servants! All of you are astray, except the one whom I have guided; (and all of you) are weak, except the one whom I have given strength; (and all of you) are poor, except the one whom I have made rich. So ask of Me, and I will give you. If the first of you and the last of you, all your humans and all your jinn, all your living and all your dead, all your moist and all your dry, were to come together and be like the heart of the most God-fearing servant among My servants, this would not add to My dominion even as much as a mosquito's wing. And if the first of you and the last of you, all your humans and all your jinn, all your living and all your dead, all your moist and all your dry, were to come together and be like the heart of My most sinful servant, this would not decrease My dominion even as much as a mosquito's wing. That is because I am One; My punishment is a word, and My mercy is a word. Whoever has certainty of My power to forgive, then it is no great matter for Me to forgive his sins, however many they may be."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Malik bin Harun bin Antarah, and there is agreement on his being da'if (weak).
