Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17153

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever Allah Almighty clothes with a blessing (that is, grants some blessing to) should frequently recite 'al-Hamdu lillah'; whoever has many sins should seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty; and whoever finds his provision delayed should frequently recite 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah'."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: After this he mentioned the complete hadith, which is found in full in the Book of Righteousness and Maintaining Family Ties.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Yunus bin Tamim, who is da'if (weak).
