Majma al-Zawaid 17133 — What one says when afflicted by worry

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to some people of Banu Hashim: "Is there anyone with you who is not from among you?" They replied: No! Except for a nephew of ours (a sister's son), or a freed slave of ours. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any one of you is afflicted by worry or hardship, he should recite: 'Allahu Allahu rabbi, la ushriku bihi shay'a' (Allah, Allah is my Lord; I associate nothing with Him.)"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat.
