Majma al-Zawaid 17134 — What one says when afflicted by worry

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites:
'La ilaha illallahu qabla kulli shay', wa la ilaha illallahu ba'da kulli shay', wa la ilaha illallahu yabqa wa yafna kullu shay'' (There is no god but Allah, who was before everything; there is no god but Allah, who will be after everything; there is no god but Allah, who will remain forever while everything perishes.)
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) says: that person will be kept safe from worry and grief."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, al-Abbas bin Bakkar, who is da'if (weak), and Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
