Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took hold of the two doorposts while we were inside the house, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O children of Abd al-Muttalib! When any distress, hardship or affliction befalls you, recite:
'Allahu Allahu rabbuna, la nushriku bihi shay'a'
(Allah, Allah is our Lord; we associate nothing with Him.)"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Salih bin Abdullah Abu Yahya, who is da'if (weak).
