Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Abis (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person halts at a place, let him recite:
'A'udhu bi-kalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq' (I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.)
(The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) then he will not see anything at that halt which displeases him until he moves on from there."
My father said: I met Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Abis (may Allah be pleased with him) in a dream and asked: Did the Messenger of Allah narrate this hadith to you? He replied: Yes!
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
