Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked a man: What do you recite when you go to your bed? He replied: I say: 'Bismika wada'tu janbi faghfir li dhanbi' (With Your name, seeking its blessing, I lay down my side, so forgive me my sins). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You do well; Allah Almighty has granted you success.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Rishdin bin Sa'd, who is da'if (weak), though reports from him have been accepted when they concern the virtues of deeds.
