Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 17042

In one report the words are: "It is reported about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said to Abdullah bin Yazid: Shall I not teach you some words? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught them to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), that when he was about to sleep he should recite: [the narrator then mentioned the complete hadith, as before].
Al-Tabarani recorded it with two chains; the narrators of the first report are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Huyayy bin Abdullah al-Ma'afiri; a group declared him thiqah (trustworthy) and others declared him da'if (weak).
