وَعَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَبْرِدُوا بِالظُّهْرِ ; فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَقَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ لَا يُعْرَفُ إِلَّا فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَقَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ لَا يُعْرَفُ إِلَّا فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .
Qasim bin Safwan narrates, on the authority of his father, this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Offer the Zuhr prayer in the cooler time, for the intensity of the heat is part of the blazing heat of Hell."
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Ibn Hibban declared the narrator named Qasim bin Safwan thiqah (trustworthy). Abu Hatim says: the narrator named Qasim bin Safwan is known only through this hadith.
